1. Order Acceptance & Verification

When you place an order with VINLAB, the following process applies:

• Your order is received and reviewed by our verification team
• We verify the documentation you provide (V5C, title, registration, or equivalent)
• We check the VIN against our database for accuracy
• Once verified, your label is queued for production
• If we have any questions or concerns, we will contact you before processing
• Orders are typically verified and processed within 1 business hour during working hours

VINLAB reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order if:

• Required documentation is not provided
• Documentation appears altered, forged, or suspicious
• The VIN provided does not match our database or appears irregular
• Multiple orders for different VINs are placed by the same customer in a short period
• The order appears intended for unlawful use

If we cancel an order, you will receive a full refund within 5-7 business days.

2. Pricing & Payment

• All prices are displayed in US dollars (USD) unless otherwise noted
• Payment is processed at the time of order via Stripe, PayPal, or other secure payment methods
• Pricing includes production, materials, and quality verification
• Shipping is charged separately at checkout — $7.99 flat rate worldwide for standard delivery
• Local taxes, duties, and customs fees are the customer’s responsibility
• Bulk and trade pricing available — contact us for volume discounts

3. Production Time

• Standard orders: Same-day dispatch for orders placed before 2pm GMT
• Verification: Up to 1 business hour during working hours
• Custom orders: 1-3 business days production time
• Bulk orders (10+): 2-5 business days production time
• Classic restoration orders: May require additional verification time depending on rarity

We will notify you immediately if any order requires additional time beyond standard processing.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Complete shipping details are available on our Worldwide Shipping page. Key points:

• Same-day dispatch for orders before 2pm GMT
• Standard delivery: 5-10 business days worldwide
• Express delivery: 2-5 business days available at additional cost
• Tracked & insured on every shipment
• Customs duties & import taxes are the customer’s responsibility
• Lost or damaged shipments — we replace at no cost following our investigation with the courier

5. Returns Policy

Because VIN labels are custom-made products produced specifically for your vehicle and VIN, our returns policy reflects this:

Returns We Accept

We accept returns and provide full refunds or free remakes in the following situations:

• Manufacturing defects — print quality issues, material defects, or production errors
• Wrong specifications — if we produce a label that doesn’t match what was ordered
• Damaged in transit — if the label arrives damaged due to shipping
• Customer dissatisfaction with quality — if you receive your label and the quality is below OEM standards
• Wrong VIN printed — if there’s an error in the VIN we printed (extremely rare due to our verification)

Returns We Cannot Accept

Due to the custom nature of VIN labels, we cannot accept returns for:

• Customer-provided incorrect information — if you provided the wrong VIN or vehicle details
• Change of mind after the label has been produced
• Labels already applied to the vehicle
• Damaged after delivery due to mishandling by the customer
• Custom designs approved by the customer before production

If you realize a mistake in the information you provided, contact us immediately — if production hasn’t started, we can correct the order without charge.

6. Refund Policy

Refunds are processed in the following scenarios:

• Order canceled by VINLAB — full refund within 5-7 business days
• Order canceled by customer before production — full refund within 5-7 business days
• Defective or damaged products — full refund OR free remake (your choice)
• Failed delivery returned to us — refund minus shipping costs, OR re-delivery at customer’s expense
• Errors on our part — full refund plus free remake at no charge

Refunds are processed to the original payment method used at checkout. Bank processing times may add 3-10 additional business days depending on your bank and country.

7. Quality Guarantee

VINLAB guarantees that every label meets these quality standards:

• OEM-spec dimensions, format, and content layout
• Premium weatherproof materials — UV-resistant, water-resistant, fuel-resistant
• Professional-grade adhesives for long-lasting bond
• Crisp, accurate printing with no smudges, blurs, or defects
• Correct VIN and specifications as verified during the order process

If any label fails to meet these standards, we will remake and reship at no additional cost. Your satisfaction is our priority.

8. Customer Responsibilities

When ordering from VINLAB, you confirm that:

• You are the registered keeper or legally authorized agent of the vehicle
• You will provide accurate, current vehicle documentation
• You understand the label is for legitimate restoration, repair, or replacement purposes only
• You will not use VINLAB products to alter, falsify, or conceal a vehicle’s original identity
• You will comply with all local laws and regulations regarding vehicle identification
• You accept responsibility for proper application of the label to your vehicle
• You indemnify VINLAB against any claims arising from misuse of supplied products

9. Intellectual Property & Trademarks

VINLAB respects the intellectual property of vehicle manufacturers. Important points:

• We are not affiliated with any vehicle manufacturer (BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Ford, Toyota, etc.)
• Vehicle manufacturer names, logos, and trademarks mentioned on our website are referenced for identification purposes only
• Our labels match original OEM specifications for legitimate replacement purposes — not for reselling counterfeit branded merchandise
• All manufacturer trademarks remain the property of their respective owners
• VINLAB products are produced as replacement aftermarket labels, not manufacturer-branded original equipment
